Fred
Colburn
A native of Midland, TX, Fred Colburn has worked in the dive industry for 17 years. He is a PADI Course Director and technical diver who has dived all over the world. As all members of the UB 88 dive team, he is both a cave diver and has a passion for wreck diving with experience exploring the Andrea Doria (250 fsw), USS Wilkes Barre (250 fsw), M/V Triple Crown (265 fsw), UB 88 (180 fsw) and the shipwrecks of Truck Lagoon. Fred served in the US Navy for 7 years as a boiler technician aboard Fast Frigates (FF's). His first-hand knowledge of warship design has proved an invaluable resource on various shipwreck explorations.
